Born of TMT
TMT was born in 1979 when Mr. Mario Terzo decided to become self-employed and started to work in the garage of his home with a first manual lathe.
In the early nineties his son was added to the company, and in 1996 was purchased the first computer numerical control lathe.
Born like a turnery that worked for third parties with manuals mechanics lathes, TMT was developing quickly in the years following the constant technological evolution of CNC machines.
The first CNC lathe with two axes was side-by-side with three and four-axis lathes until today we came to 5 axis CNC machining centers that allow us to do more complex and precise machining.
The development of TMT
In 2006, due to the small spaces, the company moved to via Igna 37 Carrè, in a plant of 1500 square meters of covered area.
In 2018, the first horizontal lathes with fourth Y-axis are purchased.
New technologies are also implemented here, such as the vertical work centres V axis that have been in our company since 2019.
In 2020 was created a quality control room with two ZEISS measuring machines.
TMT continues to invest and in 2022 acquires the first vertical machining center with V axis MULTIPALLET technology.
In 2023, we bought our first Pantograph for machining on aluminium and plastic directly on whole plates.
In 2024, TMT decided to further expand its machine park with the purchase of the first vertical lathe.
The company today
TMT is synonymous with a family business in a globalized world, able to invest in technologically new projects in the field of CNC machines.
Today TMT can count on the following machines:
- 10 horizontal CNC lathes.
- 1 vertical CNC lathe.
- 8 vertical 3-axis machining centres.
- 4 vertical V axis machining centres (one of which is multi-pallet).
- 1 pantograph for machining aluminium and plastic sheet.
- 2 manual lathes
- 4 automatic saws for cutting the material.
